Artwork: Closeup Of That Background…

Hey, I just uploaded this to my Deviantart profile and decided to post it up here too. Once I re-looked at this thing, zoomed in, I decided I liked it even more than before…hehehe. Anyway…maybe others will dig a blowed up version as well.

Send “Help Desk” Single-Click To Family-Friends That Need Tech Support…
I just had to help my Dad with his computer again, and being 8 hours away, I obviously need some way to remote desktop to his computer so that I can do the tasks, instead of talking him through everything. If the computer you’re trying to link to isn’t running xp pro, then remote desktop is kind of a pain. Also, VNC client isn’t the easiest for the computer illiterate to install and set up. So, I figured I’d recommend this little app that I use that makes it super simple for anyone with an email account to download and launch…effectively inviting tech support with a preconfigured .exe file. All you have to do is set up a simple .txt file, upload it to the Online UltraVNC SC Creator, and then email it to your friend of family member in need. They get the file from their email account and double click the helpdesk.exe file and booyow! …a connection/invite is sent to your computer and you take control.
Obviously, this is not a tutorial, just a heads up about the process. It’s pretty damn easy and works great. For those looking for an easy remote connection, this is a good one to consider.

Word up, hope this helps somebody…

Tavis Smiley-Conversation With Phil Donahue…
I admit that Tavis isn’t my favorite interviewer (I can’t understand how the dude is one of PBS’s head interviewers. He seems to have an abrasive personality and an unpleasantly quick spitted question style in my opinion), but he does have some really great guests on his show. Sadly, most people don’t know that PBS provides the great programming that it does (I admit that I didn’t either, until I moved and neglected to re-subscribe to cable [one of the best things I've done in recent history] four years ago). Anyway, opinions don’t seem to change peoples’ minds, but I like to voice anyway. There’s always that chance….
Stone Brewing Co: IPA (India Pale Ale)…
First of all, I’d like to say that this is not the first round I’ve gone with this specific ale. This is a personal favorite of mine and I can easily recommend this to any beer enthusiast. Also, since this one isn’t too expensive, it’s a great beer to buy when you don’t want to break the bank, but you want a really good microbrew. Price I usually pay is between $3.50-$4.00.
The flavor on this bad boy is great. In my opinion, this is a good IPA to gauge other IPA’s by. Meaning, that the flavor on this is pretty much what I’d call “a traditional IPA blueprint”. It’s smooth, strong (alc. content), and brings plenty of hops to the tastebuds. Also, unlike a lot of the specialty or seasonal IPA’s that many breweries produce, this one is pretty mild….which isn’t a bad thing. I actually like both, but most of the time, I’d have to go for a stronger IPA. Seeing as how I just ate a short time ago though, this goes down nicely and doesn’t give too much of the ‘heavy’ gut feeling that make enjoying one’s beer difficult.
With an alcohol content of 6.9%, this is not your average beer.
