Mmmm…hadda take two sips before I could actually start typing. This is another ale to keep in the ‘will buy again’ category. I was introduced to this one by one of the beer fanatics over at Hi-Time Wine Cellars the other day…and what better occasion to crack this open than the evening of my blogs’ one year birfday? The color on this bad bwoy is a nice golden hue, with some substance that gives it a bit of a cloudy look. None of those things being bad. Being an I.P.A., this has got plenty of that expected hop flavor…as well as a decent alcohol content (6.10%). It is definitely smooth, and leaves a nice aftertaste. This is light enough to enjoy after a meal without giving you that feeling of ‘drinking a meal on top of the meal you just ate’, any yet heavy enough to remind you that you’re drinking a ‘real’ beer. Since this is brewed year round, you should be able to find this at a watering hole nearby, provided your watering hole has good taste and is within shipping distance…hehehe.
