Hip-Hop: Jazz Liberatorz – Clin D’oeil – 2008…

Yo..here’s another new Hip-Hop album that you heads might want to add to your collections. As the name of the group implies, this is some jazz-infused hippy-hop that is smooth and chillaxed. This is along the lines of maybe, Arrested Development’ish, Tribe Called Quest’ified type stuff. Basically, this is a very nice album and I can recomend it to anybody that digs smooth beats and rhymes. This is, in my opinion, the very best of French-based hip-hop (don’t let that discourage you, it’s straight dope). Lots of nice MC’s featured on this one too, including a couple of personal favorites, like J-Live and Asheru (if you don’t know about them, get off the couch and get yourself everything you can find by them).
