Tarrus Riley “Who’s Gonna Save Us”…

I had to post this up after hearing this new track by Tarrus Riley called “Who’s Gonna Save Us”. This joint has got mad flavor…bringing the hip-hop sample from A Tribe Called Quest, a bangin beat, and the vocals by both Tarrus and Sizzla…and, of course, CONSCIOUS lyrics. Luckily for everyone, Sizzla actually comes correct on this one, keeping the high pitch, whiney stuff to a minimum. (Speaking of which, how did ‘Fizzla’ get the idea that anyone likes that shit?) Anyway, if you need a new track to spin up at the club (for you D.J.’s), or you just want a nice track to bump in your ride, mp3 player, etc., this is one I’d like to recommend. I even found a player to embed that had the track. Peep this shiz out!

Nice
thats for sure, bro
WTF you talkin bout Sizzla do “high pitch whiney stuff” u nuh really undastand where rasta really a come from then. He singin words of consciousness with everything, all his heart. What? would you rather he autotune? If yuh cant tek it go listen to Sean Paul
Hehehe…funny reaction ‘Lioness’. I’m not sure what Rasta has to do with how Fizzla chooses to sing, but I do know that most reggae heads I talk to feel the same. He used to be out of control good, and still has that potential to bang out a killer track, but…too many times he falls flat with the whiney stuff. Another point about the dude is he seems to have drifted too many times from ‘conscious’ lyrics in search of producing hits for the chart. You can’t sing fuckery in 10 songs, and then sing one conscious joint and claim to be upright. Think about it.
