Back from a week at sea!…

Well…I’m back. After a week at sea, eating more food than any human should reasonably be consuming each day, and drinking in the same fashion. What a wonderful week..hehehe. Lucky for me, my parents invited the family on a little Mexican cruise and paid for everything. Once again, my parents go above and beyond to be the most gracious hosts around. If you’ve never been on a cruise before, I suggest gettin to it. Basically, it’s like a Vegas casino/resort type atmosphere (with way better service) on a boat. They’ve got bars everywhere, pools, jacuzzis, games, music, shows, and FOOOD. The food has gotta be one of the biggest highlights. It’s amazing, and the wait-staff on the boats are so friggin nice, it’s amazing. One thing that’s definitely different than Vegas is the chance of hitting some aggressive sea….which we were lucky enough to have for an entire day and night. I don’t get seasick, and neither did anyone that was with us, but man, that boat was goin crazy. It was moving so much you couldn’t tell who was wasted drunk and who was stone sober because everybody was swayin. Pretty funny to watch actually.
Once we got home, I noticed that the motions of the ocean don’t leave your balance center once you hit terra firma. It’s like after a day in the waves or at an amusement park. You keep having after shocks..hehehe. So, now I’m back…and since I gained 50 pounds on the cruise…I gotta start thinking about gettin active to loose some of that “water” weight…hehehe. My first day back, I decided it’d be a bad idea to go skateboarding so I chilled. On Sunday, I figured I was cool again and went rollin around a bit. I had a pretty good day, pulling a lot of standard tricks, and getting comfortable on the board. Then….Bam!, on a shitty little 180 up a curb, I rolled my friggin ankle. Hehehe…I’ve never in my entire history of skating ever rolled an ankle on that trick. I actually kinda believed it wasn’t possible. Now here I am with a golf ball sized bump on the side of my left ankle, hobbling around the house in pain. Lesson learned.
rolled ankle
(*not my ankle, this one is a little more dramatic)

Peace, and more posts coming soon,
