New Del The Funky Homosapian Album…FREE?!

This post will probably make at least a few heads happy. Del just dropped his latest album and decided to trade you for it: you sign up for his mailing list, he gives you a link to download the whole album. Better yet, this dude thought of all of us computer/audio nerds out there that know a little something about digital music and their container formats. You can choose from eight different formats/bitrates; from lossless to VBR mp3. Nice.
Ok..so on to the actual album review portion. This is not Del’s strongest work, but it is definitely better than his last retail release ‘Eleventh Hour’. Don’t expect to be totally blown away a la ‘I Wish My Brother George Was Here’ or ‘No Need For Alarm’, but some nice tracks on here nevertheless. And for the price, I don’t think anyone can complain. I’d say that the overall feel gets a little repetitive but, this is definitely worth checkin out, and it will make the leap from ‘need to listen to’ into the actual archive. Another thing, I like the album art for this one. I’m not sure who did it, and I’m too lazy to look it up, but props to whoever’s responsible.
