Just purchased some of this AndyGator to try. Know bottled beer not as good as on draft but no drafts of this in So Fla. (Hard to find too.)

True beer afficionados must try Abit TurboDog. It is a dark brown ale, made famous by Emeril Lagasse for use in some of his recipes. Turbodog is the bomb!

Abita has been around forever, and they are as ubiquitous as Budweiser in southeastern Louisiana (but thankfully much tastier!).

I think they get a lot of crap for brewing non-conforming beer styles, but I think they do a (mostly) great job of giving folks something different on the cheap (at least it is cheap in New Orleans).

I do have a huge huge huge recommendation for anyone brave enough: find abita strawberry beer and buy it! Even if you don't typically like fruity beer (I don't), this beer is amazing and might broaden your horizons. Also, if you are lucky enough to be near a pub that has Abita Select on tap (very rare outside of Louisiana), always try it! It changes every month and it is almost always great.
