Here’s a good example of how many roots reggae entertainers have real voices and can bring the heat without effects or the cover of distortion and noise. Clinton Fearon tearin it up with an acoustic version of “One More River To Cross”…
I don’t see how that voice couldn’t hit you. This dudes voice and lyrics are so damn powerful. I’m stoked to have been exposed to so much of his music.
If you’re feeling this little clip, I HIGHLY recommend picking up his album titled “Mi And Mi Guitar”. It is exactly what the title says…Clinton with his guitar in an acoustic session that is out of control good. Heavy roots.
