When our soul atman is indestructible and cannot die... how it can retake birth in a new body. It is simply impossible? Every soul atman manifests a new body but never reincarnates. Our <a href="http://www.godrealized.com/hinduism_atman_soul.html" rel="nofollow">soul atman</a> ... the spirit within is the absolute master and controller of the body. The moment death of the body occurs... the soul atman immediately manifests a new body based on the residual balance of karma at the time of death of the body. Based on karma if the soul atman needs manifesting the form of a laborer in next life... it can never manifest the form of a Prince. As per the Sacred <a href="http://www.godrealized.com/bhagvadgita.html" rel="nofollow">Bhagavad Gita</a> of Hinduism... Reincarnation... rebirth is the underlying principle of the Cosmos based on which our soul atman manifests a new body again and again until it reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).
