Wu-Tang Vs. The Beatles - Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers
Hey everybody, its been a minute since Voldemars has heard an album worthy of suggesting to listen to, but finally, 2010 has put one out there. It is called “Wu-Tang vs. The Beatles” and I think it’s one of the illest mash-up albums I’ve ever heard. My favorite part of the album is a snippet of Ol’ Dirty singing a Line from a Beatles song, “Love Love me Dude you know i love you, Ill always be true, so please please love me too…” He talks about singing rap and how nobody does that.
This album is dope. What I like about it is they expanded from just the standard 36 Chambers classics and have songs from the solo albums the Wu put out. Albums from Ghosface and Raekwon to name a couple. There are a few parts on the album where the music does not quite match up perfectly, but you can expect that with Mash-ups.
*I’ve been experimenting with fusing reggae instrumentals with hip-hop acappellas. I will have Zonker post one up when I make one that I think is dope enough so share.
This album was put out by Tom Caruana and is a must have for any Wu fan. If you’re a big fan of the Beatles, then it will probably just piss you off to hear kids from the East Coast rap over it. …But!…if you love the Wu and love the Beatles, then you must hear this album. You can grab it all over the web, so give it a listen.
I want to find it!
