Well folks, if you’re familiar with either Jah Warrior Shelter and/or Satori Movements, then you’re probably already stoked to be looking at the above cd artwork. Satori teamed up with DJ I-vier (Jah Warrior Shelter) and dropped volume six in their “Satori Culture Blend” series. They’re providing this as a free download. Do yourself a favor and head on over to their site and click on that link.

Overall, this is one of the better mixes I’ve heard from I-vier in a while now. Not to dis, but, in my opinion, the whole Jah Warrior Shelter crew seems to rely much to heavily on ‘dubplates’ in their mixes (especially live). And while I do dig a cool dubplate, I’m not a fan of every track in a mix being one. For me, it’s about sprinkling them in sparingly. I-vier is definitely one of my favorite reggae selectors though, so this is definitely a treat. Also, this mix is hosted by Prestige. Another great thing about this mix is that it’s not overwhelmed with the host shouting over the mix. Again, it’s done sparingly and enhances the mix rather than beat it over our heads. Definitely a solid mix, worth checking out and adding to the archive.
