Japan has once again, done something incredibly strange, but oddly interesting: created a holographic pop star. Here it is at a ‘live’ show:
The 3D hologram’s name is Hatsune Miku and as you can see in the vid…the crowd is eating that shit up. To be honest, I think I actually like this idea much better than the ‘just add water’ real life pop stars we’ve become accustomed to. I mean, at least there’s a ton of talent needed to create this hologram. Whereas living pop stars just need auto-tune and a shitload of money for payola and advertising. Lucky for me, I’m allergic to pop and won’t be subjecting myself to any of it (besides having to check out this video ‘sensation’ of course…hehehe).
