Hello folks. 4th of July is right around the corner and Summer is in full effect. To help get folks in the mellow mood, R8R and L-wood present you with this ultra-irie roots reggae mix called Medicinal Roots. As anyone who knows me (zOnk.oNe) knows, I’m an avid reggae fan and take my music and selections seriously. You can trust me that this mix is rock solid roots through and through. I love it when selectors put together mixes like this one, especially when the price is free. There’s a heavy load of conscious roots oldies and the blends are nice. So big-up to R8R & L-wood for providing a great soundtrack for Summer…all at no expense to us, the listeners.
*Obviously there are some links, promotions, etc. in the download package…so if you’re feelin it, support the DJ’s.
Dude. Sign us up. When can I get all my music ran through this filter?
This shit is so damn radical. I can’t wait for the technology to become cheap and consumer accessible. 3D friggin music. Nice.
Well folks, once again we’re into the Summer season, which means hot weather and less clothing. TrendyInk just wanted to drop a little note and remind everyone that the Sun is some serious shit, and sunscreen is a good thing. Even if you don’t get skin cancer, nobody likes hanging out with someone that looks like they’re wearing a bacon-suit. Photographic proof:
See? You can tell by that little kid’s reaction that even he knows the ‘baseball glove’ skin look isn’t a good one. How much cookin time do you think it takes to turn human skin into jerky? I’m guessing that she uses Kitchen Bouquet instead of sunscreen to get that level of darkening. I didn’t know it’d work on people skin, but the proof is in the picture.
Enjoy your Summer.
Check out these bored trustafarian hippies, using Dad’s cash to buy ‘killer weed’ and camera equipment so they can experiment in Mother Nature’s awesomeness:
Anybody dizzy after that? Us too.
The strangest thing about this video is the fact there are 100 ‘updated’ and ‘part 2′ videos posted on YouTube. This is some popular shit for folks that don’t have talent for board sports, but want to be internet famous. Good luck folks!
*Thx @Maco for the link
Well folks, another Sierra Nevada World Music Festival has come and gone. As usual, the fun level was turned up to maximum and the music, at times, was incredible. One of the biggest surprises for my squad was a very intense performance by Taj Weekes. Here’s a likkle Youtube video from him. If you get the chance, make an effort to see him live.
A rock solid live show, Taj Weekes is definitely on my recommended reggae artists list.
Dude, you don’t understand. Try to. This chick just. loves. cats. LOVES THEM!
Hahaha…what a catch this psycho would be! Hurry up, dog, go to eHarmony now and link up with her while she’s still available. Yeah, you’re right, with all that love for cats, I doubt that she’s still on the market. I guess we can all thank the internet for showing us the early stages of the crazy cat lady from The Simpson’s.
Jesus…that was embarrassing to watch…but not so embarrassing as not to laugh my ass off at her ridiculousness…
