Yeah, son! We got car wash raps!
What’s rad is that this is a real commercial. This ain’t the type of shit you get when you live in a big ass city…small businesses can’t afford the air time. Thank the lawd for smaller towns with businesses like these that bust out with pure gold advertising. Presidential Car Wash. If they were in my area, I’d have to check em out.
Mister Rogers remixed by Symphony of Science’s John Boswell for PBS Digital Studios. PBS is some of the best shit on TV. This whole project sounds dope:
Super smoothness. How can you go wrong? Mister Rogers was such a friggin nice dude…it’s great to see this type of remix done so well. Big props go out to PBS and Melodysheep for this.
More info from PBS: When we discovered video mash-up artist John D. Boswell, aka melodysheep, on YouTube, we immediately wanted to work together. Turns out that he is a huge Mister Rogers Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes. Both PBS and the Fred Rogers Company hope you like John’s celebration of Fred Rogers’ message.
This is the first in a series of PBS icons remixed.
No wonder this shit is gonna hit 1 million views in 24 hours…
This is some super funny shit: *Break out your herbal medication before viewing
…what just happened?
Yep…chicken head beat box:
Double entendre: ambiguity of meaning arising from language that lends itself to more than one interpretation.
Get it? A chicken head doing a chicken head beatbox. Funny shit.
Here’s a new-school classic: Alborosie’s ‘Kingston Town’
This has got to be the most remixed reggae track of the century (so far). Everything from ambient to dubstep has gotten the Alborosie treatment. No wonder…the shit is a banger.
This is a solo acoustic version of “Fanfare” performed on the HandPan (PANArt Hang). Never heard of it? Neither had we. Peep it:
I don’t recall ever hearing about the HandPan, but thanks to Dante Bucci, I’m now in the know. That thing seems like it’s gotta be fun to play on. Like a reverse steel drum that you play with your hands.
*By the way, I have no idea if “Fanfare” is a cover, and if so, who does the original. Just saw the vid and thought it was cool enough to share.
