I asked my brother to write a little bio/intro for my site. Here's what he sent me:

Who is Zonk? Can such a question be so easily answered? No it cannot. But I have been asked to make the attempt and so I shall.

Zonk is the essence of love, peace and positive energy wrapped in the flesh and bone of a man. He is such an amalgam of talent that it’s hard to watch his accomplishments and not feel cheated by nature. So easily does he take to art and music and cyberspace that one would think that the gods of myth had returned and slept with a mortal woman to give us a modern day Odyseus, Perseus or Theseus.

If, you do not believe my words, than perhaps you should look upon the man and be convinced

 Look upon his hands which flow with equal talent while guiding pencil or spray can. He creates with a depth and quality of vision that rivals the masters of any period. A style that has evolved driven by the fires within as well as the comics, anime, and graffiti absorbed as a boy.

 Look upon his feet as they glide and dance about his skateboard. How many countless pairs of shoes have been ridden to oblivion by this surfer of concrete, curbs, empty pools and handicap rails? Only Hades himself knows for surely the underworld is filled with the holed, shredded footwear of this unstoppable skater.
 
Look then upon his ears for they are tuned to music that surely in the days of the greeks would have lured men to their deaths upon the rocks of Scylla and Charybdis. Whether creating through charged lyrics and beats or listening to and feeling the positive energy that is reggae, it is music that truly fuels his soul.

Look then upon his heart. It has seen violence, misuse of authority, friendships come and gone, love, fear, hatred, and anger in the world around it. And yet it beats now fiercer than ever. A world that exists with so much pain needs love and peace and positive energy now more than ever. And who better to bring it than the man who can touch the world on all levels.

So again, who is Zonk?

Zonk is love. Zonk is peace. Zonk is creativity. Zonk is talent. Zonk is understanding. Zonk is the drive in each man to better themselves and those around them.

Zonk is, what the world needs!
